Based in Broome you will be responsible for operating, repairing and maintaining advanced water/wastewater plants to optimise process and delivery outputs through monitoring, analysis and corrective action. What you can expect with this role Performing scheduled and unscheduled (breakdown) maintenance in complex treatment plants (chlorination, fluoridation, caustic and media filtration) Using your full range of trade skills to operate and maintain a treatment plant Taking control of the worksite including where contractors are employed Identifying faults and coordinating repairs (or within trade scope undertaking these) Participating in a 24/7 on‑call/standby roster About you Trade Certificate – Electrical or Mechanical Certificate III National Water Package (Treatment) or willingness to work towards it WA C or MR Class driver’s licence Relevant high‑risk licences – LF, EWP, DG, CV Trained and competent in Confined Space Entry Trained and competent in the use of SCADA and atmospheric monitoring equipment Sound like a match?
