Your Role in the Community The Community Liaison Officer plays an essential role within our health services team, working diligently to enhance service engagement in Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities. You will establish and maintain meaningful networks that foster collaboration and support, ensuring our services are accessible and effective. As a proactive communicator and researcher, you'll identify community demographics, conduct promotional outreach, and gather vital data to inform service improvements. We are searching for an enthusiastic individual who is passionate about community engagement and health services for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people. If you have the following attributes, we want to hear from you Certificate III Health Services, Individual Support or equivalent Ability to function in a multi-disciplinary team and to function independently. Demonstrated ability to plan and organise own work, manage multiple tasks and work independently. Previous experience working with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities. Identify as Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander Possession of a current ‘C’ Class Driver’s License (Queensland). Working with Children Blue Card and current Federal Police Check. (Within the last six months) or ability to obtain prior to commencement.
