Our key areas of operations include Retail Banking, Wealth Management and Global Private Banking. The Fraud Industry & Brand Protection Manager reports directly to the Fraud Intelligence Manager within the Fraud team, sitting within the broader FCS (Fraud and Credit Services) team, IWPB Australia. The role is responsible for contributing towards the protection of IWPB (International Wealth and Premier Banking) customers. The role is anticipated to have a key focus on scam prevention, detection and response. This role provides key support to the Fraud Intelligence Manager, working on initiatives across fraud, scams and disruption, fraud technology design and deployment, industry liaison, along with the provision of fraud advice and SME knowledge across the business to a variety of internal stakeholders. Your main responsibilities will include: Play a key role in fraud and scam disruption initiatives relating to new and ongoing typologies Assist in the detection of escalation and disruption of brand abuse and phishing matters Conduct intelligence analysis, using data and analytics working with large and complex data sets, to combat fraud and scams Supporting delivery of streamlined processed to enable immediate brand abuse protection Prepare strategic intelligence reports to provide insights into fraud trends and investigation outcomes Play a key role in leading industry anti-fraud initiatives including fraud intelligence and consortium initiatives Strong stakeholder management and commercial acumen to work closely with all stakeholders including regional and global Fraud counterparts, investigation teams, internal Product managers, customer advocacy and complaints, along with external Fraud technology vendors and industry colleagues. To be successful in this role, you will need: Bachelor’s degree in a Finance and/or business-related field. Relevant experience in fraud management and having delivered fraud enhancements which have realised their goals. Experience delivering fraud tools or capability enhancements, realising benefits. Commercially focussed with experience of contributing to the delivery of impactful strategies within a complex, multi-faceted environment. Excellent communication skills (verbal and writing) as well as developed interpersonal skills, demonstrating the ability to communicate and influence at all levels of an organisation; building engagement and able to present complex information in a structured and balanced manner. Preference will be given to candidates who hold Australian PR/Citizenship or New Zealand Citizenship, or who can demonstrate current unrestricted work rights in Australia without limitations.
