The Opportunity As a result of continued growth, we are always looking to speak with Specialist level candidates (comparable to Consultant/Senior Consultant level in Big 4 consulting firms) who are interested in joining our Risk Advisory division. As a Specialist, you will be an integral member of a team delivering legal led, risk advisory solutions to clients across a variety of industries. You can expect to work closely with your colleagues in Risk Advisory, Ashurst's legal teams, and our NewLaw division (Ashurst Advance) to support and advise clients on the development and implementation of risk frameworks, the assessment of risk programs, the implementation of controls testing and uplift, as well as the design and implementation of compliance programs. Our Risk Advisory division is made up of subject matter experts across operational risk, regulatory risk, data & analytics, ESG, financial crime, cyber risk, commercial advisory, project advisory, and managed services. While everyone brings their own areas of expertise, we all collaborate closely to solve our clients' problems in the most holistic way possible. We are interested in hearing from you if You're excited about using your talents to help solve a diverse range of client problems with new, unique and inventive solutions, to assist in the growth of a unique and 'first-to-market' practice. You're an experienced risk practitioner and are comfortable with the common tools, frameworks and standards in this space. You have 3-5 years of specialised risk experience ideally in a client facing role within a well-respected consulting firm. Candidates with a minimum of 4 years' experience in compliance, risk management or internal audit, preferably with listed companies, will also be considered. You have proven experience in developing and implementing risk management strategies and controls. You have proven experience and practical knowledge of working with and implementing obligations and regulations from the key regulators. You're confident in autonomously finding solutions to a range of problems, especially those related to risk management, in a commercial and client focused way. You have exceptional written and verbal communication with a focus on attention to detail. You will have experience writing a range of business documents, including reports, letters and proposals. Ideally you have experience assisting with business development activities, including drafting pitches and proposals. What makes Ashurst Risk Advisory a great place to work?
