Senior Associate

The role Are you tired of the bureaucracy and politics of big firms, but still want to work on quality transactions? We’re looking for a Senior Associate or Special Counsel to join our rapidly expanding Banking & Finance team. We’re a diverse group, and are looking for someone who is enthusiastic, hard-working and fun. We are looking for a Senior Associate or Special Counsel to work closely with Luke McShane. Luke is an experienced banking and finance lawyer, with a particular focus on the project financing of mining, resources and infrastructure projects within Australia and overseas. You will have the opportunity to work with a variety of borrower clients financing their resources and infrastructure projects in Australia and overseas, as well as non-bank lenders investing in the real estate sector including boutique fund managers, dedicated property development funders, multi-family investment houses and private lender syndicates. We’re looking for someone: admitted as a Lawyer with 5+ years’ experience with Banking & Finance experience with a genuine passion for problem solving and thinking outside the box that is keen to be involved in mentoring junior members of staff wanting a fantastic team culture with an entrepreneurial and innovative mind‑set The firm Hamilton Locke is an exciting, rapidly growing corporate law firm with a strong and rapidly growing client base.
