Position Overview Due to continued growth, a great opportunity exists for an enthusiastic and energetic individual with a ‘can-do’ attitude to join our Gold Coast Service Department as a Carpenter – Fire Door Installer . This permanent full-time position involves installation of fire doors and hardware, routine testing, servicing and minor repairs of a fire doors, passive fire/smoke doors in accordance with AS 1905.1, AS 1851, and other relevant standards. The role will require the successful applicant to be able to plan, organise and have excellent time management skills. The applicant must be able to work autonomously as well as demonstrate versatility and support within a team in accordance Key Responsibilities Inspect and assess passive fire doors for compliance with relevant Australian Standards and building codes Perform installation, maintenance, repair, and rectification works on fire-rated doors and hardware Complete compliance reports and documentation accurately using mobile apps or digital systems Liaise with clients, site managers, and other trades to ensure work is completed efficiently Maintain high levels of safety, quality, and professionalism on every job site Haven’t worked in “Fire” before? Qualifications & Key qualities we are looking for Proven experience working with passive fire systems and fire doors Understanding of AS 1905.1, AS 1851, and relevant requirements Cert III in Carpentry, or similar trade qualifications (preferred) Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently Valid driver’s license Drug/alcohol screening (if required) What Is On Offer For You?
