Lecturer in Veterinary Clinical Pathology Part‑time, 0.6 FTE – Continuing position Pay and Salary Base pay: A$124,656–A$148,023 per annum, plus 17% superannuation Role Details Faculty: Science Department / School: Melbourne Veterinary School Position Level: Level B – A$124,656–$148,023 p.a. plus superannuation Responsibilities Curriculum Development: Design and develop veterinary clinical pathology curricula to complement existing strengths. Teaching and Learning: Prepare and deliver lectures, tutorials, practicals, and seminars, providing academic mentoring. Student Supervision: Oversee student research projects, ensuring timely completion and effective guidance. Clinical Pathology Services: Contribute to high‑quality clinical pathology services for the school and external parties. Staff Supervision and Training: Supervise and train staff, including residents in clinical pathology and related disciplines. Who May Be a Good Fit Experienced veterinary professional with passion for education and exceptional clinical pathology services. Possesses a relevant postgraduate qualification in veterinary clinical pathology or related field. Has experience in curriculum design, teaching, and student supervision. Demonstrates excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Shows commitment to professional development and continuous learning. Collaboration mindset and ability to work effectively in a team.
