With a focus on quality and innovation, we are seeking an experienced Chef to join our team. Located inside Cabravale Club Resort, Bistro 1925 (Mediterranean-inspired, open-style kitchen) and Poppy Café deliver fresh seasonal dishes, quality coffee and light meals. We trade 7 days for lunch and dinner. Key responsibilities Plan and organise food preparation and cooking; ensure plating quality and service timing. Develop menus and seasonal specials that reflect the restaurant's concept and culinary style. Estimate food & labour costs , place orders and manage inventory. Monitor Food stock, order raw materials, and help to control costs and reduce waste. Supervise, train and roster kitchen team members; uphold kitchen SOP and service standards. Maintain food safety & hygiene compliance (temperature logs, labelling, cleaning, HACCP). Oversee the equipment maintenance repair and proper usage. Skills & experience 2+ years’ experience in high-volume full-service kitchens. Strong leadership, communication and cost/stock control capability. Ability to work under pressure in a fast‑paced kitchen environment. Knowledge of Australian food safety standards; cookery qualifications desirable.
