About the Role As aSenior Bookkeeper , you’ll take the lead on a diverse portfolio of clients, providing expert bookkeeping, compliance, and advisory support. You’ll also play a key role in training, mentoring, and guiding our team, setting the tone for excellence in everything we do. What You’ll Do Manage end-to-end bookkeeping and payroll across multiple entities Oversee BAS, IAS, and super compliance Deliver financial reporting and cashflow forecasting when required Train, lead, and mentor junior team members as well as review their work Identify process improvements and support client training Build strong, trusted relationships with clients - being the reliable teammate who’s “got them” What You’ll Bring Cert IV in Bookkeeping or Diploma of Accounting (BAS Agent registration preferred) 4+ years’ experience managing complex client portfolios Advanced Xero, MYOB, and Excel skills Strong understanding of Australian payroll, GST, and compliance Leadership experience with a focus on quality, accuracy, and client care A proactive, can-do mindset and clear, confident communication skills Why Join Bookmates?
