Food & Beverage Manager - Gold Coast Airport (SSP Australia) About the Role Reporting to the Assistant General Manager, we are looking for an experienced and motivated Food and Beverage Manager to join our huge multi‑venue operations located at Gold Coast Airport. You will lead a team of 100+ baristas, bar attendants and F&B attendants across 6 bars, cafés, and restaurants. Our venues include: Wollumbin Bar & Restaurant The Sand Bar Shift Timings Flexible roster 5 days a week: 04:00 am – 12:30 pm; 12:00 pm – 20:30 pm. Responsibilities Manage and lead the FOH team through ongoing leadership, providing clear direction on a daily/weekly basis. Provide leadership and development to Duty Managers, including clear development plans for each restaurant and regular reviews with the General Manager & Assistant General Manager. Provide regular performance reviews and feedback to staff, including annual performance reviews. Accountable for the financial outputs of the group of restaurants under management, including cost of goods, cost of employment and top line sales versus budget. Maintain client relationships with partners and airport authorities. Drive, monitor and respond to audits, delivering full compliance, risk management and ensuring best practice within operations. Candidate Requirements Previous experience within a similar role for 2+ years (preferable). Self‑driven and highly motivated individual looking to grow within the role, a great opportunity for a venue manager to take the next step into a multi‑venue leadership role. Experience within the hospitality industry and multi‑site management. Strong leadership skills and shift management experience to engage, lead and train the team. Proven ability to adapt and learn quickly. Experience in delivering individual coaching, structured training and sessions for team members.
