Property Manager Associate

We’re currently seeking a reliable, proactive and solutions-focused Property Manager Associate to support one of our Senior Property Managers. If you love homes, enjoy being out and about during the day, and have a keen eye for identifying maintenance needs and property care, this could be the perfect next step in your career. Position Overview In this role, you’ll be responsible for conducting routine property inspections, identifying maintenance issues, and reporting on the general condition of the homes we manage. You’ll play a key role in helping us uphold the presentation and safety of our rental properties, working closely with our experienced Property Managers. This is not just a desk-based role, you’ll be on the road each day visiting properties, gathering information, and ensuring the properties under our care are maintained to a high standard. Key Responsibilities Conduct routine inspections across our property portfolio Document condition reports and maintenance issues with detail and accuracy Take high-quality photos using an iPhone and inspection software Communicate inspection outcomes to the property management team Monitor urgent issues that may require immediate repair or attention Support the team with practical field insight to help with maintenance planning Admin & Follow up Required Skills Excellent attention to detail and strong observation skills Tech-savvy with iPhone, laptops, and reporting software Ability to work independently and manage a daily field schedule A practical, solutions-focused mindset with interest in property maintenance Current driver’s licence and access to a reliable vehicle Real estate or housing maintenance experience preferred, but not essential Current Certificate of Registration or willingness to obtain if successful What We Offer Supportive and energetic team environment Opportunity to grow within the McGrath network Training provided Independence in your workday – every day is different Be part of a team that genuinely cares for clients, properties, and people Interested?
