The health service delivers evidence‑based, contemporary public health and clinical interventions with a focus on excellence in care, technology, teaching, research, and empowerment of people with mental illness. Key responsibilities Provide clinical leadership to a multidisciplinary team Oversee inpatient and community mental health and ATOD programmes Ensure clinical governance and contribute to strategic and operational planning Deliver education to junior staff and students Engage in ongoing professional development and continue education Mental health services are delivered across diverse settings, including a 38‑bed Acute Adult Mental Health Unit, a 10‑bed Psychiatric Intensive Care Unit, a 12‑bed Sub‑Acute Unit, and a 20‑bed Community Care Unit, with multidisciplinary teams supporting more than 30 facilities across 142,900 square kilometres.
