About The Role We have an exciting immediate opening for a Die Cutting Machine Operator to join our established production team at our Box Hill plant (until February, then Scoresby). This role offers a great opportunity to develop and progress your career with an industry leader and the world's largest IML manufacturer. Your duties Set up and operate Heidelberg diecutting machines according to job specifications and production schedules. Interpret job dockets, layouts, and specifications to ensure accuracy in cutting, creasing, embossing, and stripping. Conduct quality checks and monitor machine performance to maintain high standards and productivity. Perform routine maintenance, cleaning, and lubrication of equipment. Follow all safety policies and keep your workspace clean, organized, and hazard‑free. Collaborate closely with prepress, printing, and finishing teams for smooth workflow. Assist in training new operators or assistants when required. About You Proven experience operating Heidelberg diecutting machines or similar flatbed / cylinder die cutters. Strong understanding of diecutting, creasing, embossing, and stripping processes. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and job tickets. Attention to detail with a commitment to quality, safety, and efficiency. Problem‑solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team. Physically fit and able to handle repetitive lifting (up to 20 kg), bending, twisting, and standing for long periods. Eligible to work in Australia. Benefits Competitive pay and benefits package.
