Café & Admissions Supervisor

Casual or Full Time 12 month contract (opportunity to extend for the right candidate) Local Tourist attraction is looking for an energetic, mature minded individual to fill a Café & Admissions Supervisor position, with possibility to extend for the right candidate. This position consists of 4 to 5 days per week (including weekends, school holidays and public holidays) working in the Admissions, Café & Souvenir Shop. You will be responsible for operational activities that include front desk customer service, administration, staffing, ticketing, bookings, stock control, retail, café and kiosk. You will be responsible for managing the first impressions of our guests and therefore must perform all tasks to the highest of standards. You will have particular emphasis on delivering exceptional customer service, food safety standards and have prior cash handling and team leading skills. You must be well presented, have the ability to work well with others and lead a team, be reliable & trustworthy, multi-tasker and have problem solving skills. Your job will be to assist in general administration duties and provide support to the business owners where needed. A high level of computer, organizational skills, attention to detail and the ability to work unsupervised whilst staying on task is a must. In this role, you will be responsible for looking after both corporate and general clients, so having a professional manner is vital. Extensive experience in a similar role working with both bookings software and POS Intermediate levelcomputer skills, with some experience in Microsoft Office programs. Exceptional Customer Service skills and a can‑do team orientated attitude Ability to handle conflict resolution of team and guests. Ability to work under pressure & work with a small functional team Highly skilled to train, mentor and develop team members. Strong organizational skills Calm and positive demeanor Excellent communication skills including written and verbal A passion for Hospitality and Tourism – with minimum 2 years experience working in these industries.
