Clinical Nurse Consultant Position (Level / Salary : SRN Level 4 $141,535) Unit / Directorate : North Metropolitan Mental Health Service (NMHS) Location : Subiaco Work Type : Permanent – Full Time Position No : Closing Date : 00 PM Western Australian Eating Disorder Outreach Consultation Service (WAEDOCS) Responsibilities The Clinical Nurse Consultant practises as a Senior Registered Nurse (SRN) in accordance with the Australian Nursing and Midwifery Board Registration Standards and the Nursing Practice Decision Flowchart. Demonstrate expert knowledge, competency and experience in eating disorders, providing extensive consultation. Provide strong clinical leadership and management within the organisation, clinical division and area(s) of responsibility. Uphold and function within the core values of the organisation and nursing values of Care, Respect, Innovation, Teamwork & Integrity. Align behaviours with the organisation's core values and be assessed on the ability to fulfil the responsibilities of this position during the selection process. A comprehensive CV that clearly shows your experience relevant to this role. The names and contact details of two (2) professional referees – preferably one who is your current supervisor or manager. Applicants must ensure their nominated referees are available to provide references when requested; failure to do so may result in them being deemed unsuitable. Eligibility to Apply : Australian citizenship or permanent residency is an essential requirement for applicants to be considered for permanent positions in the public sector. For a fixed-term appointment, you must provide documentary evidence of your entitlement to live and work in Australia for the period of the contract. WA Health requires applicants to undertake a criminal records screening and integrity checking as part of the appointment process. Depending on the role, a working with children check and a pre‑employment health assessment may also be required. Referees may be asked to comment on your integrity and past demonstration of ethical behaviour. Acceptance of this selection process may also be used to fill other similar vacancies throughout the health service for a period of twelve (12) months from the date the authorised delegate endorses the recruitment decision.
