Household Manager & Family Assistant | Port Macquarie/Rawdon Island $32-$35/hour | 36 hours per week | Immediate Start Are you an organised, capable professional who thrives on managing a busy household? We're seeking an exceptional Household Manager & Family Assistant to support our family in the beautiful Port Macquarie/Rawdon Island area. About the Role: This is a varied and rewarding position supporting a professional family. Working Monday to Thursday (10am-7pm), you'll be responsible for keeping our household running smoothly while providing care and support for our 10-year-old child. This role offers relative autonomy - you'll manage your time effectively to ensure all tasks are completed to a high standard. Tasks & Responsibilities: School pickup 4 days per week and transport to after-school sports activities Minor childcare health appointments such as dentist visits Organising household events including birthday parties, cakes, and school-based activities Household Management: Prepare evening meals for the whole family 4 days per week Food shopping and meal planning Maintain house to a very high tidiness standard Folding washing and putting it away Household errands including post office, dry cleaning, and other pickups Minor office administration and banking tasks for the family Household Coordination: Coordinate household trades when needed (electrician, plumber, etc.) Organise car servicing for multiple vehicles, tyres, and maintenance General family life management and administration During school holidays, support extends to two teenagers who board during the school term (age 13/15) Qualifications & Experience: Current Working With Children Check Valid driver's licence with good driving skills Cooking experience with strong culinary skills Must like animals (we have chickens) High attention to detail and task‑oriented approach Exceptional organisational skills Trustworthy, honest, and discreet Own reliable vehicle for commuting Highly Regarded: Previous household management or executive assistant experience Experience working with families and children Flexibility with hours for the occasional late evening when needed What We Offer: Competitive hourly rate of up to $35/hour Car provided for use during work hours Relative autonomy with your time management Beautiful large house to work in with pool and extensive grounds Work with a professional, respectful family Opportunity to make a real difference in a family's daily life About You: You're proactive, detail-oriented, and take genuine pride in your work.
