Transport Allocator

Tranzquip is looking for a customer service focused addition to our transport team. Successful candidates will be able to utilise their truck allocation experience to manage truck and driver resources to meet client requirements in the most timely and cost-effective way. Job requirements: Assess cargo and determine most suitable truck and trailer combinations for transport. Communicate with clients on scheduled deliveries and job updates. Manage fleet, keeping continuous contact with drivers to support them with their deliveries. Work alongside other departments to plan cargo deliveries based on cargo availability and client needs. Applicant skills and experience: 2+ years fleet allocation experience. Additional consideration will be given to applicants with container transport knowledge. Computer competency and ability to learn new systems (no specific software experience is required). Ability to multitask and problem solve, working in a fast paced office environment.
