Water Cart Operator

Applications are invited for the position of Water Cart operator within our organization, which is involved with dust suppression in a mining environment in the Singleton area. Work is in a mining environment operating a Water Cart (road registered 10‑wheeler rigid with 14000 litre water tank 6‑speed automatic). Day work only (10hr shifts) possible overtime. Mon‑Fri (No public holidays unless requested by our client). All penalties payable for work over 7 hours Monday to Friday. Job will initially be for a 3‑month trial period. You will be permanent if you pass the trial. We are an Equal Opportunity Employer. Responsibilities You will be responsible for the cleanliness and minor maintenance of the truck. Selection Criteria Demonstrated willingness and capacity to perform the inherent physical requirements of the role. Demonstrated ability to work independently and within a team in the outdoors in all weather conditions. Demonstrated initiative and a pro‑active approach to your work. Have good communication skills (written and verbal). Have knowledge of and commitment to OH&S. Ability to comply with current / ongoing Drug & Alcohol requirements. Willingness to undergo an Order 43 Coal Services Health Medical with full functional assessment. Recent Joint Coal Board Medical (under 12 months). Closing date for applications is 7th November 2025.
