We have grown from humble roots into one of the world’s largest and most efficient grain supply chains, delivering millions of tonnes of quality Western Australian grain into the hands of customers around the world each year.Our storage and handling system currently receives and exports around 90 per cent of the Western Australian grain harvest and is regarded as one of the best in the world. We in-load via our own in-house design screw conveyor pits, bucket elevators, ground conveyors, trippers, and stackers into multiple storage types. This plan outlines its unique value proposition, the core services it provides, the initiatives that will propel us towards our 2033 targets, and the metrics we’ll use to gauge our success.Supporting the Head of Strategy & Sustainability your role is to aid in shaping the group's strategy by thoroughly grasping the competitive environment and both local and global markets relevant to CBH's operations. The Manager – Strategy also supports for our Strategic Focus Area priority projects. You will be supporting the development and executing strategy and business-critical projects.Responsibilities Include:Have a broad ranging & deep comprehension of the external environment within CBH's operational scope, with the ability to bring external business concepts and competitive landscape analysis into the organisationCoach and guide direct reports in providing exceptional service and fostering engagementOffer commercial support to various departments on critical projectsServe as a strategic and commercial advisor to CBH staffEfficiently plan and coordinate the strategy cycle for the business, aligning with other organisational plans such as CBH Network, IT, and Marketing long-term strategiesFacilitate and deliver presentations to the Board, executive team, management, and frontline staffConsult with and present to frontline staff, senior management, and the Board on significant decisionsAbout You:Demonstrated experience leading, mentoring & developing a high performing teamPost-graduate qualification in Business, Commerce, Engineering or related discipline8 years’ experience in investment banking, professional services, consulting or corporate strategyDemonstrated ability to assist in the development of long-term strategic plans.Ability to lead complex projects (mergers and acquisitions, large capital expenditure, productivity programs)Proficiency in fostering connections with both internal and external stakeholdersCritical analysis skills for value creation opportunitiesKnowledge of agriculture commodities and / or supply chain is desirableCBH offer a range of employee focused benefits aimed to encourage a healthy work life balance, including:Opportunities toenhanceyourleadership skillsand achieve yourcareergoals13-weeks paid parental leaveFree on-site gym, fitness classesand excellent end of trip facilitiesEmployee assistance programCorporate employee discounts including travel, health insurance funds and financial servicesOn-site day-care centre, currently provided by Good Start and subject to their availabilityIf you are excited about the role and think you have what it takes but your experience doesn't align 100%, we still want to hear from you.CBH is genuinely committed to diversityandinclusion and encourages applications from people of all backgrounds.
