Sales Consultant – Hospitality Furniture

Sales Consultant – Hospitality Furniture & Equipment (Melbourne Showroom) Are you a seasoned sales professional with a passion for building relationships, driving revenue, and elevating customer experiences? We are seeking a Senior Sales Consultant to join our Melbourne team. This is a key role suited to someone who thrives in a fast‑paced retail and B2B environment, can confidently take ownership of their portfolio, and contributes strategically to overall sales performance. What We’re Looking For Minimum 3‑4 years of proven sales experience , ideally in furniture, interiors, fit‑out, design, hospitality supply, or related industries. Demonstrated ability to manage the full sales cycle — from lead generation to closing, delivery, and post‑sale support. Strong communication and relationship‑building skills with both retail and commercial clients. Proficiency with Mac , Gmail and Fishbowl Inventory highly regarded. A proactive, self‑led mindset with the ability to work independently while contributing to team goals. Confidence in upselling, solution‑based selling, problem solving, and guiding clients through product selections. Experience mentoring or supporting junior team members is an advantage. Key Responsibilities Own and grow your sales pipeline, managing daily inquiries from walk‑ins, calls, email, and live chat. Prepare accurate quotations, proposals, and product recommendations tailored to each customer’s needs. Conduct showroom consultations and build strong long‑term relationships with both new and existing clients. Collaborate closely with the General Manager to drive showroom performance and identify growth opportunities. Maintain and optimise CRM data, ensuring opportunities and customer details are always up to date. Submit and process sales orders and invoices with accuracy and attention to detail. Stay informed on product ranges, new releases, and suppliers by attending ongoing product training. Provide strategic feedback and insights to the Sales & Marketing team on customer trends, promotions, and product gaps.
