Strategic Lead Technical Position Exceptional Career Opportunity In the Wealth Management Space Financial Markets Network and Cloud Engineering Lead Network Engineer – Limelight People are working with a leading financial Services business and supporting their Australian expansion plans. We are searching for a Lead Network Engineer to join their expanding business, operating within the Wealth Management space. This opportunity is well suited to someone operating within an enterprise environment, already leading technical solutions or who is looking to step up into that technical leadership position. Job Description This position is responsible for maintaining multiple LAN / / WAN networks for the organization, including routers, switches and firewalls. Maintain the design, installation, upgrades and documentation of respective networks. A key area will also be cloud technologies, particularly utilising AWS connectivity Design and coordinate circuit installs and perform related network changes in support of routing new traffic to required hosts Good knowledge of Network Security – vulnerability assessment tools and forensics. Maintain documentation of network configurations and data center layouts Research and implement new network technologies as required to support growing business needs. Work with both internal and external customers to troubleshoot and repair network issues. Regular attendance at the workplace in a hybrid WFH / office environment may be required Performs other related duties as required or requested. Work Experience A minimum of 5 years networking experience Technical Leadership experience is very well regarded Extensive knowledge of Cisco switches and switch configuration. F5 experience (LTM / APM / ASM / GTM) is essential Experience with Data Center racking, cabling and connectivity Knowledge of Cisco firewall device configuration, ideally being CCNP and above Experience with Fortigate / Fortinet or Checkpoint firewalls Knowledge of network troubleshooting principles.
