About the Role We are currently seeking a part-time Physiotherapist to join our team in Busselton who is committed to making a difference in the lives of our deserving Residents. The role offers an opportunity to provide high quality, evidence‑based Physiotherapy services – founded on our philosophy of Resident centred holistic care. In your day‑to‑day role you will be responsible for assessing the physical and psycho‑social functioning of residents, working alongside them and those important to them. You will identify their Physiotherapy goals, needs and preferences, and ensure all parties are kept informed of Resident‑led, goal‑directed care planning within a multidisciplinary environment focused on reablement. Physiotherapists understand how important good physical functioning and healthy ageing are to people’s sense of well‑being. You will be responsible for ensuring high‑quality services are provided by the Therapy Team with a focus on meeting the physical and psychosocial needs of our residents. As a Physiotherapist with us, no two days will look the same You will benefit from a diverse caseload that allows you to apply a broad range of your core skills, including but not limited to: Falls prevention, trending, analysis, management, and post‑fall review Musculoskeletal assessment and management Evidence‑based pain management (acute and chronic) Mobility Exercise prescription (Physitrack subscription available) Functional retraining and rehabilitation Equipment provision Promotion of health and education around cardiovascular and respiratory rehabilitation Continence, bowel, and pelvic health Positioning Manual tasks and transfers Oedema management Advocacy for residents through supporting choice and mitigating risk processes Training and education Quality monitoring practices and continuous improvement Support from senior clinicians, peer‑support activities, and opportunities for personal and professional growth About the Facility We are proud to offer this premium 140‑bed Residential Aged Care Facility for both low and high care residents in Broadwater.
