Applications close 10:00 AM, 05 January 2026 Reference number: Job type: Permanent full‑time Package: $33.37 – $35.06 per hour (not including industry allowance) Location: Koroit, Mortlake or Macarthur depot (nine‑day fortnight) We are seeking experienced applicants to join the construction team and operate a range of council vehicles, including tandem drive cartage truck, tandem drive machinery float, truck and dog trailer, and tandem drive semi water tanker. The successful candidate will assist in council maintenance and construction programmes. Qualifications Valid driver licence with HC endorsement Employee working with children check Experience Experience operating large trucks in a variety of conditions Key Selection Criteria Experience operating large trucks under a broad range of conditions Basic mechanical knowledge Basic verbal and written communication skills Applications that fail to address the above key selection criteria will not be considered for this position.
