Job Description Are you looking to build a rewarding career in compliance, auditing, and certification? Join us as a Compliance Assessor (Lead Auditor) and gain practical, hands‑on experience setting a strong foundation for a future in the auditing and certification industry. In this role, you will receive comprehensive training and mentoring to conduct audits against GFSI‑accredited standards, as well as a variety of non‑accredited schemes, compliance checks, and technical assessments. You will have the opportunity to inspect food manufacturing operations and build expertise across programs such as SQF, BRCGS, FSSC 22000, and more. This role is ideally for candidates based in Brisbane or Perth. What you’ll do: Conduct audits, compliance checks and technical reviews Support auditor training and respond to technical queries Promote SGS services and contribute to business growth Qualifications What we’re looking for: Tertiary qualifications and/or work experience in agriculture sector or similar (preferred) Strong communication and attention to detail Willingness to travel (within and interstate) Based in Brisbane or Perth, preferable,with work-from-home flexibility This role offers a unique pathway into the compliance and certification industry, with structured training and development to become a certified Compliance Assessor – Food (Lead Auditor) with multiple schemes.
