CHEAPER BUY MILES is a fast-growing grocery business that’s been fighting food waste since 1995 — and we need strong leadership to support our growth. Due to our rapid expansion, increased store placements, and our mission to reduce food waste and help protect the planet, we are looking for a dedicated Warehouse Supervisor. Annual Salary: $70K - $75K (based on experience) + Super Position Type : Full-time Hours: 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM (Friday 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM) Schedule: Monday through Saturday, with one weekday off Successful applicants must be available to work every Saturday. Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Warehouse Supervisor to lead our warehouse team and oversee day-to-day operations. The main responsibilities include inventory management, stocktaking across chilled and dry products, liaising with store managers, and managing team rosters. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining smooth warehouse operations and ensuring efficiency and productivity across both the warehouse and the stores. Key Responsibilities: Supervise daily activities: Oversee day-to-day warehouse operations including receiving, pick packing, and stock deliveries. Inventory Control: Conduct stocktake across chilled/frozen products regularly to ensure accuracy and fulfil store orders. Staff Roster: Roster a team of up to 20 staff across 6 days of operation, and manage time and attendance. Safety and Compliance: Ensure safety regulations are strictly complied within the warehouse. Fleet Management and equipment maintenance: Conduct equipment and machinery inspections regularly including forklifts and servicing of trucks (battery charge and water levels etc.). Team Management and training: Mentor, guide, and train new and existing staff members to optimise warehouse performance, and to ensure an efficient working environment. Improvement Planning: Continuously seeking new ways for Warehouse and Logistics to become more efficient and productive, including the optimisation of space and reducing wastage. Qualifications: Prior experience as a Warehouse Supervisor. Valid forklift license. Comfortable working in chilled environments. Preferred Qualifications: Light Rigid Truck License. High Reach Forklift License. Relevant certifications or coursework in warehousing/logistics.
