The role Reporting to a Senior Executive, you will lead four tightly connected functions that sit at the centre of the Australian operation: Testing Laboratory, Quality Assurance, After Sales Support and New Product Delivery. Your remit is to strengthen the platform, lift standards and accelerate innovation so that every product released to market is safe, compliant and trusted by customers. Responsibilities Lead an in‑house testing laboratory, assuring safety, compliance and fitness for purpose across a wide product range Oversee after sales service, turning complex issues into opportunities to deepen customer relationships Shape packaging, compliance and technical data strategies that anticipate regulatory and sustainability trends Lift supplier and manufacturing quality, resolving issues at source and reducing risk Represent the company with regulators, standards bodies and industry groups, bringing a practical voice grounded in how product is designed, made and used About you You bring a strong grounding in engineering, industrial product development or manufacturing of physical products, with experience across product innovation, quality, testing and supplier management. You have led diverse technical and operational teams, set clear direction and stayed close to the work. Your judgement balances rigour and speed, with a bias to practical solutions that work for customers, branches and suppliers. Relevant industry backgrounds may include Plumbing, water management, bathroom, kitchen and laundry products Building and construction hardware, renovation products and associated engineered assemblies HVAC, refrigeration, heating, cooling and ventilation systems Industrial and engineered products with testing, compliance and durability requirements Suppliers and manufacturers where product standards, certification and safety are central Personality traits Energetic, collaborative, and humble. You listen first, ask good questions, and enjoy getting under the skin of products, understanding how they are put together, where they fail and how to make them better with others.
