This role will see you working within our site assisting with food handling, food preparation and basic cooking duties as well maintaining a clean kitchen environment and basic record keeping. About You: Are you someone who is up for a new challenge and to be part of a dedicated aged care team, using your cooking expertise to create meal experiences that nourish not only the body but also provide emotional comfort and a sense of home for elderly residents? Our ideal candidate has: Essential: Proven experience in commercial food preparation and cooking; Has a strong knowledge of safe food hygiene practices and kitchen safety; Currently holds, or willing to obtain a current Police Check; Hold valid Australian Work Rights - Unfortunately we are not currently able to sponsor. Desirable: One year's experience as a commercial cook; Experience with supervising and training junior kitchen staff and trainees; Confidence in communicating with supervisor and suppliers; Importantly, you will be someone who closely aligns with our organisational values of: Unconditional Love, Continual Innovation, Mutual Trust, Wise Stewardship and Safety.
