Roads 2000 operates from a centrally located office in Osborne Park with a modern asphalt production batch plants in Wangara & Neerabup. We provide a professional service to government, commercial and residential clients. About the Role Roads 2000 is seeking a highly motivated entry level Laboratory Tech to join our growing Laboratory team who will play a crucial role in being responsible for sampling and testing our product to ensure we meet specification and NATA accreditation, reporting to the Laboratory Manager. This full-time position is based North of the River working between our Plants in Wangara and Neerabup. The suitable candidate will be available to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends and regional works when required. Skills Sample and test asphalt, ensuring high quality of the product Provide technical control over a facility involved in only a narrow range of tests and material types Participate in finding solutions to technical issues on construction sites Maintain the laboratory in accordance with NATA accreditation requirements Calibrate and maintain Laboratory equipment Follow Inspection and Test Plans to carry out production and compliance testing Generate reports on test results and keep accurate records High level of written and verbal communication skills, with proven ability to ensure clear and concise reports and correspondence are prepared Qualifications Valid Driver's licence White card Certificate III or IV in Laboratory Techniques-advantageous Other Police clearance Able to pass regular drug and alcohol tests What we offer At Roads 2000 Pty Ltd, we are committed to providing our employees with a rewarding and fulfilling work experience.
