Return to Work Coordinator & Onboarding Administration Assistant Australian Portable Camps – Monarto, SA Australian Portable Camps (APC) is a leading manufacturer and provider of modular accommodation and turnkey camp solutions across Australia. As we continue to grow, we are seeking a proactive, organised and people‑focused Return to Work Coordinator & Onboarding Administration Assistant to join our team. This dual‑focused role supports the health, safety and wellbeing of our employees while ensuring smooth, professional onboarding for all new starters across our manufacturing and remote operations. About the Role This position combines responsibilities within Return to Work (RTW) coordination , injury management , and administration support —specifically centred around onboarding . You will work closely with supervisors, site managers, medical providers, insurers, and new employees to facilitate safe, compliant and supportive workplace practices. Key Responsibilities Return to Work Coordination Act as the primary point of contact for all workplace injuries and RTW matters. Liaise with medical practitioners, insurers and internal stakeholders. Develop, implement and monitor suitable duties plans in line with legislation. Maintain accurate RTW documentation and reporting in SkyTrust and HR systems. Ensure compliance with South Australian Return to Work Act & company procedures. Support early intervention strategies and promote a safety‑first culture. Onboarding & Administration Prepare employment packs, contracts and onboarding documentation. Coordinate inductions for manufacturing, FIFO and remote‑site employees. Process new starter information into HRIS systems (SkyTrust, JDE, Procore). Organise pre‑employment medicals, training and site‑specific requirements. Maintain personnel files and ensure all licensing/competency records are up to date. Assist with administrative tasks such as employee queries, uniform orders, and system updates. About You We are looking for someone who is: Highly organised with strong attention to detail. Able to prioritise and manage multiple tasks in a fast‑paced environment. Confident communicating across all levels of the business. Knowledgeable in WHS, RTW legislation or willing to undertake relevant training. Experienced administration or injury management (preferred but not essential). Proficient with Microsoft Office and safety systems (SkyTrust, Procore or similar is an advantage). Empathetic, professional and capable of handling sensitive information with discretion. Qualifications & Experience Experience in RTW, admin, or safety administration (preferred). Qualification in RTW Coordinator is essential. Previous experience in manufacturing, construction, or FIFO environments is beneficial.
