About the Role Working closely with experienced Partners and Managers, you will gain exposure to a variety of corporate insolvency and restructuring appointments. You'll play an active role in managing engagements, contributing directly to successful outcomes for stakeholders. Key Responsibilities Assisting in the day-to-day management of corporate insolvency administrations (e.g., Liquidations, Voluntary Administrations, Receiverships). Conducting thorough investigations into company affairs, analysing financial information, and identifying potential voidable transactions or misconduct. Preparing accurate budgets and cash flow forecasts for businesses under administration. Drafting comprehensive statutory reports for ASIC, creditors, and other stakeholders. Implementing and monitoring appropriate financial controls on client engagements. Maintaining meticulous working papers and ensuring file compliance to the highest standards. Building and maintaining strong professional relationships with clients, creditors, legal advisors, and other stakeholders. Contributing to the team's success and actively participating in business development initiatives where appropriate. About You We are looking for a skilled and adaptable accountant eager to contribute to a high-performing team. You will ideally possess: Experience: 2-4 years' relevant experience, ideally within: A dedicated Insolvency / Restructuring practice, OR An Audit or Business Services role within a Chartered Accounting firm, demonstrating strong analytical skills and a genuine interest in transitioning to Insolvency. Qualifications: A relevant Bachelor's degree (e.g., Accounting, Commerce, Finance). Hold (or be actively working towards) your CA or CPA qualification. Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective liaison with diverse stakeholders. High level of accuracy and meticulous attention to detail, essential for this field. Proven ability to work collaboratively within a team environment and manage tasks independently.
