NSW Department of Customer Service – Parramatta NSW Jr Business Analyst Clerk Grade: DCS Clerk Grade - /4 Salary: $84,659 - $92,701 per annum + super Employment Type: Temporary Full-Time Opportunity Until December 2026 Hybrid - Flexible working arrangements across NSW offices, with the team primarily based in Parramatta. Opportunity We are currently working to engage a Junior Business Analyst for one of our digital squads on a temporary basis. The Junior Business Analyst is expected to have similar years of experience in similar roles. While not mandatory, a technical background would be helpful. About the Role Revenue Digital is looking to recruit Junior Business Analysts for two of its squads on a temporary basis. These squads are cross‑functional teams consisting of a Product Owner, software developers, BAs, QAs, a Delivery Lead, etc., and work using a mix of agile methodologies. About You Some experience in a similar role as a Business Analyst Knowledge of requirement gathering and interpreting business requirements, systems, and technical documentation Engage with stakeholders to understand and document business requirements Create, update, and maintain business analysis documents and project deliverables Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to translate requirements into IT deliverables Collaborate with Senior Business Analyst to create backlogs, epics, features, and tasks and provide holistic support for delivery Skills and Experience Required Demonstrated experience in stakeholder management Experience in business analysis activities and supporting multiple projects Experience in using requirement management tools Strong research and analytical skills Ability to identify and create data in various formats Demonstrable ability to work to deadlines and balance competing needs About Us Revenue NSW Digital is responsible for the delivery of state‑of‑the‑art digital experiences focused on simplifying and improving the interactions of 20,000+ businesses and 2 million+ individuals with the NSW Government.
