Base pay range $180.00/yr - $250.00/yr Senior Project Manager (Perth, WA) with a prominent ASX-listed property retail group Bullet Points Career growth opportunities with a well established brand Opportunity for the role to be flexible Full Job Description I am looking to speak with experienced and driven Senior Project Managers to join a dynamic team, supporting the delivery of strategic redevelopment projects. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for overseeing and implementing key retail and mixed-use construction projects, ensuring timely delivery, and maximising value for stakeholders. Role Purpose As the Senior Project Manager, you will support the Project Director in delivering high-quality redevelopment projects. Your primary objective will be to manage construction, tenant coordination, and project outcomes. You will work to minimise the loss of rent by improving timelines related to construction staging, store handovers, and openings, all while driving maximum value for the company and its shareholders. Key Responsibilities Provide regular updates on project status and costs through Project Control Group reports Lead and manage the tender process using innovative procurement strategies Achieve stakeholder sign-off on designs and various stages of development Oversee the appointment and negotiation with consultants and tenants Play a vital role in commercial and contract management, ensuring positive outcomes Coordinate with consultants and contractors to meet design, technical, and quality specifications Perform value engineering to maximise development returns while minimising disruption to operational centres Ensure strong risk management and safety performance throughout the project lifecycle Assist with the preparation of redevelopment proposals, from project briefs to the final handover Experience & Capabilities 5+ years experience in commercial development, particularly in retail Strong leadership experience in fast-paced project environments Advanced contract negotiation and administration skills Expertise in managing large-scale, sophisticated construction projects Solid understanding of retail and mixed-use tenancy design guidelines Proficient in managing budgets and schedules Ability to provide innovative solutions and value-for-money outcomes Essential Qualifications: Qualifications in Project Management, Construction, or a related field. Critical Skills & Attributes: Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong negotiation and stakeholder management skills Ability to manage contractors, consultants, and internal teams effectively Proficiency in managing budgets and financial forecasting Demonstrated leadership and the ability to foster collaboration and teamwork Proven project experience across retail and mix use sectors.
