You will be responsible for the operational management of a CT section, providing clinical support, efficient resource utilisation, high quality imaging services, and professional development for qualified and trainee radiographers. Selection Criteria Current registration with the Medical Radiation Practice Board of Australia as a Medical Radiation Practitioner – Diagnostic Radiographer and IA14 radiation licence issued by EPA. Extensive experience and competence within a section/modality, performing complex clinical procedures, reflecting continuing education and practical expertise. Experience of effective prioritisation, workload organisation and delegation. Ability to communicate effectively, work as a team member, supervise, train and teach qualified and trainee radiographers. High level of communication and interpersonal skills, including consultation, liaison and negotiation with all levels of staff, patients and external agencies; ability to positively influence organisational change. Availability to participate in a seven‑day per week rotating roster and be rostered on call. Understanding of principles of Quality Assurance and Continuous Quality Improvement. Senior level experience in managing CT workflow and leading, coordinating and supporting CT staff.
