The Role: We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join our Enterprise team in Sydney. You will help build and scale Relevance AI’s platform for our largest customers, ensuring security, reliability, and extensibility for enterprise-scale use. You’ll collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to deliver enterprise-grade features such as SSO, RBAC/permissions, audit logs, and compliance tooling . You will work across our modern tech stack and receive autonomy to lead key projects and mentor team members, with a focus on solving complex technical challenges and end-to-end ownership. Your Impact Design, build, and deliver enterprise-grade features such as SSO, RBAC/permissions, audit logs, compliance tooling, and data visibility. Contribute to reliability, scalability, and performance initiatives for enterprise adoption. Collaborate with product and go-to-market teams to translate customer needs into technical solutions with real value. Own projects from design to deployment with attention to code quality, maintainability, and security. Work across the stack (backend APIs to frontend) in a modern TypeScript-based environment. Contribute to architectural discussions and technical decisions as the platform scales. Mentor junior engineers and share best practices to raise technical excellence. What We’re Looking For 4+ years of hands-on software engineering experience in fast-paced tech environments building products for enterprise customers. Experience delivering enterprise features such as SSO, permissions systems, audit logs, or compliance frameworks. Strong skills in modern web technologies, ideally TypeScript, Node.js, and cloud infrastructure (AWS preferred). Experience with APIs (REST or GraphQL) and distributed systems. Ability to design scalable and fault-tolerant systems for real-world enterprise users. Strong collaboration across product, design, and commercial teams to translate business needs into scalable technical solutions. Ownership mindset — proactive in driving projects and improving systems. Interest in AI and eagerness to build innovative products. Regular use of AI tools to improve workflow and productivity. Bonus Points Understanding of large-scale per-customer deployments (on-premise and cloud). Knowledge of access controls (FGA/RBAC), AWS infrastructure, SSO/OAuth, and platform analytics.
