Doolan’s Heavy Haulage was started in Melbourne and has operated in the OSOM space for around 40 years. With depots in Melbourne, Perth and Port Hedland, we deliver Heavy Haulage services across a raft of industries. The WA business operates from our Depot in Maddington. We operate a large fleet of Drake widening trailers and platforms, and an extensive fleet of European Scheuerle modular axle lines. About The Role We are seeking a designated Permits Officer to manage our permits obligations. Working with a dynamic and experienced team, you will be responsible for the day‑to‑day management and coordination of the permits chain. This role will include liaising with MRWA, Western Power and other stakeholders to ensure our permits are compliant and approved in a timely manner. You will also liaise with our operations team and our client base around the permits space. About You The Permits Officer role is suited to a self‑starter who is methodical and system‑oriented. A strong commitment to structure is a must. Preference will be given to applicants with experience with MRWA and Western Power permit domain. Qualifications Must have a current WA MDL A high level of computer literacy Experience with permit applications and regulatory compliance in the WA road transport space Extensive administrative organisational capability Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Proficiency across the Microsoft suite A strong attention to detail A knowledge of the WA Heavy Haulage, MRWA and Western Power regulations and requirements will be advantageous #J-18808-Ljbffr
