Add expected salary to your profile for insights About the Hotel Sage Hotel Wollongong is recruiting for a motivated & skilled Full-Time Food & Beverage Team leader to lead our team in delivering Catering, Events & Restaurant service targets. Our F&B Team leader is a key role within our team, responsible for the overall success of all outlets, including Catering & Events, Five Islands Restaurant, Hotel Room Service & CWC Bar. You will guide & oversee a great team, whilst building solid relationships with guests, colleagues & suppliers. About the Role Your duties will include: Leading the Food and Beverage shift operations and department as a whole. Maximising & monitoring the financial performance in all outlets. Ensuring that catering & event operations are delivered to a high standard Development of operating procedures & service standards for department operations across all outlets Creative flair with event management. Working with the C&E team + Executive Chef to ensure high performance in conference operations. Manage food & beverage expense including rostering within budget parameters. Ensure that strategies and practices are in place to achieve financial and service quality targets. Create a team that works together with trust and takes responsibility to meet the goals of the department / Hotel. Skills and experience Management / Team leadery experience within a multi-faceted F&B environment . Familiarity & experience in event management & banquet operations Proven ability to manage food, beverage and wage costs. Be flexible and available on the floor during peak periods of service Lead and motivate a team and act as a role model. Enthusiastic and energized and willing to go over and above to ensure exceptional customer service. Exceptional staff management and leadership skills. Must have unlimited and unrestricted legal working rights within Australia. Inspirational, highly motivated, has impeccable attention to detail, has a high energy management approach and most importantly works hands on with their team to achieve exceptional results.
