DFI Operator – UGL Join to apply for the DFI Operator role at UGL . This position is open for the first 25 applicants. From operations and maintenance to asset management and fuel supply services, our team's expertise ensures we deliver effectively and sustainably. In preparation for potential increased scope of works we are seeking expressions of interest for Fuel Operators to join the team at the Amberley RAAF base, SEQLD. This will be a unique and exciting opportunity to work within a team of defence personnel while enjoying the benefits of working with a Tier 1 service provider. The Role Lead by an Operations Supervisor, the DFI Operator will be based at the Edinburgh RAAF base, supporting a number of fuel installation sites in the region. Reporting to the OA, an operator will be tasked with various operational and functional roles around the installation. Responsible for the safe and compliant operation and management of the aviation and/or ground fuel installations. Lead a small team of operators, managing quality, compliance, quantity and availability of fuel and related systems and processes. Ensure the technical integrity of the fuel, including management of quality control sampling and testing. Experience in a similar environment would be highly regarded; fuel or other high-risk/hazardous processing environments. What You Will Need Along with experience relevant to the role above, you will be a strong team player, a self-starter and dedicated employee. Qualifications Defence specific training will be advantageous; training will be provided to the successful applicant where required. Valid Drivers Licence (HR or HC will be highly regarded).
