Your New Role and Responsibilities An average week for a Graduate Systems Administrator providing Application Support for a number of systems across different environments includes a wide range of activities: Supporting, maintaining and improving an extensive server platform and related applications across multiple domains and national locations; Key team member supporting both the Business and ICT users of the supporting infrastructure; Applying operating system updates, patches, and configuration changes; Troubleshooting any reported issues; Utilising enterprise-wide monitoring platforms; Updating and creating system documentation; Deploying system wide software; Adhering to documented policies and procedures; Undertaking minimal development activities that directly support the applications served from the supporting infrastructure; Working as a team to solve complex ICT problems; Directly supporting customer missions through business ICT support; Applying DevOps and automation principles to increase consistency and efficiency Graduates will be supported to develop their skills and knowledge specific to this role, to ensure they are able to contribute and reach their highest potential.
