Shift Team Leader Maddingley, VIC | Full-Time | 12-Hour Rotating Shifts (Day/Night) We’re looking for a hands‑on Shift Team Leader to keep things running safely and smoothly at our cutting‑edge recycling facility in Maddingley. This advanced recycling facility is building Australia’s future of recycling – transforming soft plastics into reusable resources through advanced chemical recovery. The Maddingley facility is state‑of‑the‑art, designed for efficiency, safety, and sustainability. Join us in driving the circular economy forward. What You’ll Do: Lead the Shift – Supervise and support a team of two operators to keep production running efficiently and safely. Keep Operations Flowing – Oversee feeding, monitoring, and troubleshooting of the recycling line during your shift. Drive Safety First – Lead by example in OHSE practices, toolbox talks, and incident reporting. Maintain the Floor – Ensure housekeeping, equipment checks, and minor maintenance tasks are completed to a high standard. What You Bring: Experience leading teams in an industrial, manufacturing, or recycling environment. Strong understanding of plant operations, machinery, and safety systems. Confident communicator with solid problem‑solving and troubleshooting skills. A commitment to teamwork, safety, and continuous improvement (forklift licence a plus).
