Enrolled Nurse – Pre‑Operative Transfer Nurse Wagga Wagga, NSW, Australia, 2650 – Permanent Part‑time position (Closing on: Nov ) Position Description Calvary Riverina Hospital offers one of Australia’s largest health care providers with a welcoming culture. As a Permanent Part‑time Enrolled Nurse (Pre‑Operative Transfer Nurse), you will support patients from the Day of Surgery Admission (DOSA) Unit or inpatient wards to the Pre‑operative service unit. About the Role The Enrolled Nurse is responsible for the provision of comprehensive care for a specific group of patients requiring escort from the DOSA Unit or inpatient wards to the Pre‑operative service unit. This role involves giving a comprehensive clinical handover and ensuring patients are safe and feeling supported in their pre‑operative care. Your main duties will include: Providing comprehensive handover utilizing the pre‑operative handover and checklist process from the ward or DOSA to the Perioperative Services team. About You Registered with AHPRA. 2‑3 years’ experience as an Enrolled Nurse. Experience working in Surgical Services. Effective communication and interpersonal skills. Demonstrated competence as a nurse clinician. Demonstrated contribution to teamwork and quality and safety initiatives.
