Case Manager Integrated Family Services

Leve 5 on the SCHCADS award $100,776.00 plus super OzChild has been supporting vulnerable children, young people and families for 170 years. Our Integrated Family Services Program is one of our largest teams and incorporates Family Services, The Orange Door, Family Worx and our evidence-based programs Safecare and Functional Family Therapy‑Child Welfare. The Integrated Family Services Program provides assistance to vulnerable families living in the Bayside Peninsula area catchment area. The program promotes the safety and wellbeing of children and supports and empowers families to fully realise their potential through direct service and by enhancing the service network. In general workers would spend between 4 and 6 hours per week with each family for a 3 to 6‑month period. Our strengths‑based approach is client‑centred, integrates the use of evidence‑informed elements like motivational interviewing, communication and parenting, respects self‑determination and promotes resilience. What a successful candidate looks like Tertiary qualifications in Social Work, Community Services, Psychology or similar Previous experience delivering case management based on Best Interest Principles. Knowledge of and understanding of the Child, Youth and Families Act 2005 Sound knowledge of theory relating to trauma, abuse and neglect and evidence of practical use within your current role Knowledge and experience of child protection and the protection of children and young people as well as the out of home care system and standards.
