Warehouse General Duties

Responsibilities Assist and direct incoming donations to the nominated sorting area; remove and change rubbish bales and white bags; assist with furniture and furniture floor displays (where applicable), sweeping and general tidying of sorting area. THIS ROLE INCLUDES SOME HEAVY LIFTING (Furniture etc.) Benefits Physical nature of role will ensure participants increase and maintain physical fitness and condition. Training Society orientation, manual handling (as per Society policy), and other on‑the‑job training e.g. WHS test to be completed prior to starting. Notes Undertake a three month trial period, willing to learn, participate and work within a team environment. Physical capacity to use manual handling equipment and transport loads is essential.
