Cleaner - WCH

We are currently seeking dedicated Cleaners to join our team at the Woman’s and Children’s Hospital North Adelaide and help maintain a safe, hygienic and welcoming environment. As a Cleaner, you will work as part of the WCH facility team, carrying out a range of cleaning tasks across the hospital. You’ll interact with patients, visitors and staff, always demonstrating confidentiality, empathy and professionalism. We are offering several part-time positions with a consistent Monday–Friday roster, 6:00am–10:00am . What you’ll do: General and detailed cleaning of patient rooms, clinical areas, public spaces and amenities Floor care, high dusting, damp wiping and spot cleaning Cleaning of infectious/isolation areas and discharge cleans Maintaining equipment, reporting faults and restocking supplies Responding to cleaning requests via handheld device Following infection control, safety and quality procedures at all times What you’ll bring: We’re looking for people who take pride in their work and understand the importance of hygiene in a healthcare setting. Experience in healthcare or commercial cleaning (preferred) Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, equipment and safe work practices Understanding of infection control principles High attention to detail and strong customer service focus Ability to work independently and manage time effectively Please note: As a pre‑requisite for this role, successful candidates will be required to undertake a pre‑employment medical, as well as provide an up‑to‑date National Police Clearance, current Working with Children clearance and Immunisation history.
