This nationally significant social infrastructure project will be a place to nurture trial and share new ideas and form new partnerships that will drive better outcomes for people who are deaf hard of hearing blind or have low vision. Description The Role NextSense has an exciting opportunity for an Audiologist to join our team in Darwin. This is a Permanent Part-time arrangement working 3 days per week and the role will report directly to the Team Lead. You’ll make a difference in this role by : providingevidence-based assessment intervention supports and other strategies to assist clients in achievingoutcomes using a person / family centred framework when providing services participating in and providing clinical supervision to other team members conducting comprehensive paediatric diagnostic assessments including hearing evaluations for infants and children differential diagnosis of hearing loss and collaborative case management with families and multidisciplinary teams performing and interpreting behavioural and electrophysiological assessmentsto accurately identify hearing status and auditory function across the paediatric population What we can offer you Competitive remuneration 100% salary packaging allowing you to increase your take home pay Extensive personal / carers leave 2 weeks paid leave over Christmas in addition to 4 weeks annual leave Paid parental leave of 14 weeks for primary carers and 6 weeks for secondary carers Access to industry leading education and professional development Collaborative work environment Wellbeing program including Employee Assistance Program Skills And Experiences To be successful in this role youll need to demonstrate you meet the following selection criteria. Essential : Masters of Audiologyor equivalent Practicing member of Audiology Australia Capacity andwillingness to obtain a Medicare provider number to undertake the role Demonstrates sound clinical skills and knowledge Experience in audiological assessment including speech perception testing Works collaboratively as a member of a multidisciplinary team Working With Children Check NDIS Worker Check Desirable : Paediatric and adult audiological experience A workingknowledge of electrophysiological tests Willing to learn new systems processes and frameworks Experience working with clients who have implantable hearing devices Were here to help.
