Position Overview As a Service Advisor at mycar, you’ll be at the heart of our customer experience. You’ll connect technical workshop needs with outstanding service delivery, ensuring every customer leaves feeling confident, supported, and valued. In this role, you’ll support the workshop from a technical and administrative perspective while building strong, long‑lasting relationships with our customers. Your goal? Deliver a high‑quality, cost‑effective service that leaves every customer with an unforgettable mycar experience. What You’ll Need to Understand (and Support Customers With) As part of the role, you’ll be helping customers navigate a wide range of automotive services. You don’t need to be a mechanic, but having a basic understanding of these areas will set you up for success: General servicing – logbook servicing, minor & major services Tyres – fitting, balancing, puncture repairs & wheel alignments Brakes, suspension & steering – explaining common issues and repair needs Diagnostics & mechanical repairs – helping customers understand findings and recommendations Batteries & electrical checks – testing, replacement & troubleshooting Air conditioning servicing – regas, system checks & maintenance Safety inspections / rego checks EV & hybrid servicing – a growing area, with ongoing training provided What You’ll Bring Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to build and maintain genuine relationships Solid mechanical and tyre knowledge across a range of vehicle makes and models Strong understanding of workshop workflow , scheduling, and automotive service processes Current Australian driver’s licence Excellent communication skills , both verbal and written Experience in a fast‑paced automotive or service‑based role Team‑focused mindset , thriving in a close‑knit workshop environment Confident computer skills , including Microsoft Office Suite and workshop systems People First Perks Through our commitment to our people‑first culture, we offer our mycar team a range of competitive benefits designed to make their life that little bit easier Take advantage of not only a great culture, but revel in our professional development programs designed to help continue to build and grow your career, wellness programs, and a huge range of discounts on the services we provide.
