About the roleWe are currently seeking an experienced Store Manager to oversee the day ro day running of the ALPA store. Being part of an essential service to community, your broad skill set paired with your natural passion to make a real difference will see you improve the quality of life in community through employment, training and nutrition opportunities.
This full time position is based in a remote community in the NT
Responsibilities
Manage the day to day operations of the Retail store and takeaway shopDevelop, train and mentor local staffManage and forecast sale growth of the storeLiaising with key community stakeholders regarding the storeLiaise with the internal stakeholders for healthy food choices in the takeaway shop30th April, 2024

Responsibilities
Manage the day to day operations of the Retail store and takeaway shopDevelop, train and mentor local staffManage and forecast sale growth of the storeStock management – replenish, stocktake, orderAdministration duties – rostering, emails, reconciliationsLiaising with key community stakeholders regarding the storeLiaise with the internal stakeholders for healthy food choices in the takeaway shop
Skills and ExperienceDemonstrated experience in Retail Management and/or Hospitality ManagementDemonstrated knowledge and experience in forecasting, analysis and staff rosteringAbility to communicate effectively with stakeholders at various levelsStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsComputer literateStock inventory control and managementBenefitsWork with Australia’s largest independent Indigenous Corporation13% super | 7 weeks annual leave + 17.5% leave loadingSalary SacrificingAccommodation and utilities providedMobile phone allowanceRelocation provided2 x return flights to Darwin per yearAll applications will be treated confidentially and only those with the rights to work full time in Australia will be considered.
