What You’ll Be Doing As a Community Care Worker, you’ll work directly with clients in their homes, following individual care plans to provide meaningful support: Assisting with daily living and personal care, including administering medication, domestic assistance, and safe manual handling. Supporting clients with transportation and community access. Observing and reporting on changes in clients’ conditions or behaviour. Ensuring care is delivered according to client preferences and needs. About You We’re looking for people who are compassionate, reliable, and ready to make a difference: Completed Certificate III in Individual Support – Ageing (or equivalent), or working towards it. Experience supporting clients with cognitive and / or physical limitations. Own a vehicle and hold a Queensland Provisional Green or higher driver’s licence with comprehensive insurance and service history. Current First Aid and CPR certificates, or willingness to obtain prior to commencement. Ability to obtain a positive notice through the legislatively required personal history check Mercy Community is a Catholic not-for-profit that provides a wide range of services supporting families, community and residential aged care.
