Position Description Adventure Learning Teacher Aide P – 12 Silkwood is a P – 12 Independent School that is seeking a dynamic and dedicated Teacher Aide to join our team. This might be the perfect role for you Pay Rate: $35.00 per hour Commencing: 2026 (Term Time Only + 2 Weeks) Annualised Wage Hours of Duty: 8.00am – 3.00pm Applications Close: 4th January 2026 Qualifications: Qualified Teacher Aide with a current Blue Card, First Aid and CPR Certificate. Outdoor qualifications preferred but not essential. The Adventure Learning Teacher Aide will support the Adventure Learning Specialist (Teacher) to deliver a whole school adventure and outdoor learning program. This role also supports the planning of interschool sports events, delivery of specialist lessons for adventure and outdoor learning, sports games and agility. Key Responsibilities Support School Wide Sporting Events: Assist in sport events, interschool sports and representative sports. Support Student Engagement in Adventure and Outdoor Learning: Support students to connect with and engage in meaningful adventure-based learning experiences. Assist and Deliver Outdoor Specialist Lessons: Bring your passion for HPE and outdoor adventure to support lesson delivery under the guidance of the Adventure Learning Specialist (teacher).
