Job Title Junior Mechanical Engineer at SYPAQ Systems Location Port Melbourne, Victoria, Australia Description We are developing next‑generation autonomous systems. The Junior Mechanical Engineer will design, develop, analyse and test hardware subsystems for the Corvo family of autonomous systems. Responsibilities Design, develop, analyse and test hardware subsystems for the Corvo family of autonomous systems. Essential Qualifications Graduate to 2 years of experience 3D CAD modelling skills 2D engineering drafting skills Desirable Qualifications Experience with 3D printing Familiarity with Autodesk Inventor software Experience with version control and task tracking software (such as the Atlassian suite of tools) Experience integrating electronic components into hardware systems Experience manufacturing and assembling in a workshop environment Experience working under regulated engineering frameworks (Defence, Automotive, Mining) Experience designing and flying remote control aircraft or drones About you Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, aerospace or mechatronics engineering Australian Citizen The ability to hold and maintain Australian Defence Security Clearance NV1 Minimum Strong interpersonal skills Excellent written and oral communication skills Ability to work in a team or independently Contact Please follow the links to apply directly, or contact Mark Pengilly on or email: Visit our corporate website for other opportunities: Culture and Values See something.
