About the Opportunity As a Security Officer you will provide a prompt and efficient security and emergency response service throughout the buildings and grounds of the campus, aimed at maintaining a safe and secure environment for staff, patients and visitors. This position plays a key role in the protection of persons and minimising property loss and/or damage. In this role you will: Provide the security, safety and protection of all staff, patients and visitors to campus as per the Safe Working Practices and in accordance with all relevant policies and procedures. Monitor and control access to campus buildings and grounds in accordance with campus policies and procedures. Respond and provide assistance to staff and visitors who may be confronted by aggressive person(s) as per established SWP's and Code Black Procedures. Ensure incidents reports are completed following response to any emergency, critical incident or breaches of security. For more information about this role, please view the Position Description About You We are looking for someone who has: Current NSW Security Licence Class 1A, current First Aid Certificate, current valid Australian Drivers Licence. Able to demonstrate effective written and verbal communication skills. N egotiation & conflict resolution skills within a stressful environment combined with a strong customer service focus. Demonstrated experience in access control, intruder alarms and duress alarms. Ability to work a 24/7 roster at various sites across the Central Coast Local Health District.
